The commercial success of the Airbus family owes much to the design of its wings, for which British Aerospace has been reponsible. This article describes advanced aerodynamic design of wings （including peakyrear loading section, supecritical airfoil, advanced transonic wing design — supercritical wing design, wingfuselage interference, winglet design, HighLift device design）, design for low weight, wing configuration and loads,detail design, structural design and low cost design. As one part of the article,this paper describes the wings design of A300 and A310.
